Hi, I recently bought a Sharp 27" CRT SDTV flat tube set (the Sharp 27F541).
The picture seemed great the first week we had it home, but now I've noticed that there are blotches of color (alternating purplish and greenish tinted areas) in areas of color gradient
. The problem is most noticable on neutral colors (i.e. dimly lit walls and faces). We get this blotchiness on both the digital cable signal and from DVDs.
What should I do to fix this? Can this be remedied by adjusting the picture settings, or will this require a repairman. The set is only 3 weeks old. I would prefer not to take the set back to Best Buy if possible... it won't fit in my Honda Civic.
Your advice is appreciated...
