1 calibrating method that Sucks


I picked up a Daylight labeled flourescent bulb,which I was told by the employee was 6500k.I adjusted the colors comparing the bulb too the tv.After adjusting it the screen is way too blue!

i will phone back,and check again.

If the bulb is 100% white ... where is your 50% reference and your 20% reference?

IT takes more than a bulb to get it right. You also need kodak gray cards.

6500K is not the same thing as D65.

Thanks for the help.

I have some gray cards in a photography book.Not sure if that is the same?

What kind of light should be shining "on the gray cards" when adjusting tv?
