Looking to buy a samsung ltn1735, to play xbox/ps2 games on it. Any opinions?

I saw this TV at Costco and it looks pretty good for a 17" LCD. Has svideo and component hookups. I was wondering how the quality of xbox and ps2 games would appear on it. I tried them through my usb tv adapter from ATi on my laptop, but the quality is pretty crappy.

I take it, going straight to a tv would be better, but would the 17" size make it appear crappy when playing games on this TV?
