Flashing LED Problem on Toshiba Rear Projection

Has anyone else experienced the screen going blank and the power LED continually flashing on a Toshiba rear projection set?

I read at keohi that unplugging the set should take care of the problem, so I left it unplugged all night, but... it still didn't solve the problem.

The TV (57H81) has just gone out of warranty (of course), so I'd like to avoid a service call if possible. I'm also worried that leaving it unplugged for a long period of time will screw up all of Gregg Loewen's laborious ISF calibrations.

Anyone have any other tips or solutions for this problem?

Thanks!
