InFocus 5700 or NEC HT1000?

I have read what reviews I could find.

The NEC has more pixels, the InFocus has a nicer back panel (multiple component inputs).

I planned to run 2 component cables to my projector - one from the set top box and one from the dvd player. With the NEC, I don't think I'd be able to get 480p into the projector.

Should I think about a component video mux / switch? Is there such a thing?

I am leaning towards the InFocus because it is newer technology -

* longer lamp life
* better back panel discussed avbove
* I will usually be watching DVD's in 16:9 and the extra pixels on the NEC only come into play in 4:3

Still, the NEC will be more versatile on terms of projector placement (less ditance for a given image size, I don't know if that means higher or lower throw, but whatever) and that might come in handy someday.

Anyone have either of these or have any reccomendations / opinions? My budget is 3200 or so.
