Kelvins Lighting

I need to get some kind of lighting behind of my Panny 47. I like to watch TV in the dark, but its starting to stress my eyes.

Have anyone found any solution for Kelvin lighting from somewhere like a hardware store?

Ideally you'd want an accurate D65 light source designed for such a purpose.

You can also run some searches on your own for backlighting, etc.

Thanks Chris!

My tv sits in a corner of a wall and a sliding glass door. I get plenty of light during the day and the daylight doesn't effect my viewing.

Here is a picture of my setup:

The tv still remains in the same spot.

I am having trouble where I would need to place the light.

Maybe bounce the light on the wall, placing the light on the floor?

I think, I'm going to get the $55 lamp from CinemaQuest.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you bounce off the back wall, the wall color will certainly affect the light output from the lamp, just an FYI. You might not want to drop big bucks on a correct light if it's going to be skewed in color by the back wall...
