Signal Booster
Don't know if there is an appropriate place to ask this question, but this seemed the most likely:
I recently found a Motorola Signal Booster for CATV/CBL, which also acts as a signal splitter. I am interested in this type of product in order to be able to record one program on digital cable while watching another, without having to get another cable receiver.
Has anyone tried something like this? All I want be able to do is connect this between my cable input and VCR and TV. Then I would send the cable tv signal to my VCR and TV at the same time without loss of video quality. The cable company's solution is to put a switch between the VCR and TV that will allow you to watch the lower but not the upper band stations. Otherwise, they will gladly rent you another receiver.
Turn It UP!
