I need surge protection for just my tv!

I'm in a situation where I have all my components, except the tv, on a surge protector. The reason my tv is not on that surge protector is that I would have to run a visible extension cord to the location of the surge protector, and I really don't want that.

Right now it is in its own outlet above the fireplace but no protection. But now that I am getting a new tv, a much better much more expensive one, I really feel the need to protect it. Is their a single or double plug surge protector out there. I go to the local electronics store and all they have are 4 plugs and up costing over a hundred bucks. If that is what it comes to I will get it, but I really don't want to if there is a more viable solution to my problem.

Thanks in advance Alex.

Belkin makes a single plug unit...cost is around 25-30 bucks as I recall.

I have Panamax Telemax 2 which I use for my Subwoofer that is not plugged onto the same circuit as the rest of my HT. The rest of my system is protected by a Panamax Max 1000+.
