Anyone know this Phillips HDTV? Help

http://samsclub.com/eclub/main_shopp...cfkjdgoodfkh.0

Im looking for a 16x9 HD TV. Im looking to spend about $1200 or less. I saw the one above and was wondering how Phillips was. I was also looking at a Panasonic. I live in an apt so I was looking at a 30 tabletop. I was under the impression that judging my view I would need a 30 to 35in max.

Any ideas or advise would be appreciated. Thanks friends.

Dang man, I can see why you came to ask questions, not much available on it at that link at all.

I think it is proably a fine set. You may want to go a little bigger or your 4:3 format sized viewing may actually be smaller than it is now.

I'm waiting for a Philips I ordered online myself.....

Yes, at 30" your 4:3 material will be about 24" I believe...

I am upgrading from a 48" 4:3 set, so I went with a Philips 60" 4:3 HDTV, that is supposed to still give full res on 16:9 material.
