32"-36" 4x3 Direct View Recommendations ?

A friend of mine is looking for a very good 32-36 TV...

I told him I could give him the poop on which HD TV's to look at, but I haven't done any homework on the bigger 4X3 CRT's.

Suggestions would be appreciated by us both.

Please save the Panny votes... I'm still miffed at them for the lack of tilt and pincushion adjustments on my GAOO I paid $$$ for.

simplicity is genius...

Josh is right the XBR is very good, but in the comparisons i did last year the Toshiba HFX line beat out the sony hands down, and was cheaper to boot. I bought a Toshiba and ahve enver regreted it one bit.

Cheers

John
