Sony KP-46WT510 vs KV-34HS510
Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with the new Sony KP-46WT510. My wife and I just bought the KV-34HS510 last week, and while we like it, we still wonder if we shouldn't have gone with the KP-46WT510. We bought from Circuit City, and the salesman made it very clear that we could swap them out within 30 days, no problem at all. Just wanting to get some advice from the masses.
Basically, the 46WT510 would give us a foot bigger picture, and it would be $100-200 less than what we paid for the 34HS510. However, the HS510 is direct view, and maybe has a better picture. We sold our 50" Toshiba projection, and this TV is the replacement. Maybe the biggest factors in the decision for us are:
1. Glare - Will the bigger projection TV be more prone to glare than the smaller 34"? We are not having any glare problems with the 34", and we used to have some problems with our old 50" projection.
2. Picture quality for non-HD channels - Since we are only getting about 5% of our viewing in HD, will the standard digital channels look worse on the projection than on the direct view? This is what the salesman indicated, but I think I trust you people more.
Okay, I have rambled on long enough, any advice is appreciated.
