Is there any way to tell if i'm in 480p/i,720p,1080i on a Toshiba 42HDX82?


I looked through the manual and I cant find any information about how to do this.

Well since the TV does not do 720p native ... it just just upconverts to 1080i.

You look at your source and you should know.

Thanks So for example when I put the Gamecube into progressive scan I just trust its outputing 480p right? Thats what you mean by looking at the source.

yes ... the game usually lets you select the output ... you select it and that's what you get.

sup peeps...... i have my cube hooked up with component cables and the only rez it can do is 480p.... not all games support it but like 9 out of 10 do suport it.... the way to enable it is to hold the B button down then turn the system on and after the gamecube logo comes up...you will be asked if you want to use progresive scan.... pick yes :}
