how do you use? SoundBlaster X-Fi Audio Extreme card


does any one know how to incorporate this into a home theatre system and exactly why it would be good to use?

i found this mentioned on another forum

As long as you have a reciver with digital coax inputs, all you need is a card with an S/PDIF output. Some motherboards even come with it.
If you want to play PC games, that's a different story concerning the different audio formats games use (mostly Creative).
