Mike Heenan Member Join Date: Aug 2001 Local Time: 06:20 PM Local Date: 10-12-2008 Posts: 404	New laptop - DVD jittery and Adobe slow down I just purchased a laptop a few weeks ago (2gb memory, 1.66 ghz core 2 duo, 256mb video card) that ran like lightning for a week or two, but now I've noticed that when I play DVDs, the video sometimes stutters a little bit and you occasionally see a clear line across the screen that's like a pixel freezing up. Also I installed Adobe Premiere pro 2 on it and that worked great as well but now its sort of slow to where I can do a few functions like edit and trim, and then the blue arrow circle comes up like it's sucking up too much memory and freezes for a bit and then it's fine. The internet and all that runs fine on Firefox so I dont think I have a virus and norton doesn't come up with anything either. Any suggestions?
