I just picked up an iPAQ for REAL cheap. In fact I sold my old Palm M105 and will sell my Compaq PC120 to pay for it.

Anyway, I would like to pick up a secure digital memory card for it. I've heard you can get a 512MB card for $9 after rebate. I don't know if there are any deals like that anymore but was wondering if anyone new where I could look.

Thanks

Chet

check ecost.com, I usually get my best deals there.

I found a decent deal from newegg.com :
Item List

PNY 1GB SD CARD | P-SD1G-RF3 RT - Retail (Qty=1,Price=$55.94)

Extended Warranty Fee: $0.00
Subtotal: $55.94
TAX: $5.17
Shipping and Handling Charge**: $4.81
Total: $65.92

There's a $10 rebate from PNY good thru september 25th.

So 55.92 including shipping & tax. I checked ecost.com but they wanted a 6.50 handling fee - FORGET that. Of course when you first start processing the order they state the shipping at 1.99 but then you get to the VERY last page and they hit you with the huge handling fee.

"iPods don't have expandable memory, that i know of."

Yea, I don't know how I screwed that up. I meant an iPAQ pocket pc. Sorry about that. I found a great deal for 1GB SD memory but I don't have a Compusa near me and the rebate expired today. Something to keep your eye on though because Staples has been reissuing the $20 rebate every 2-3 weeks. If the rebate was available you would need to pricematch with Compusa, i.e. 59.99-20.00(rebate)=39.99

So after searching for hours I found the best deal at 65.92-10.00 rebate so 55.92 shipped with taxes. Not too bad.

If you have Fry's (or check www.outpost.com ) nearby, you can usually pick up a 1GB ATP 60X SD card for around $50 after $19 rebate (cost $69 at the counter). I picked up a 512MB 60X ATP SD card for $25 after rebate earlier this month, and it works well enough to record video from my Canon S2 camera at 30fps 640x480 resolution.
