Where to buy parts

Where do you usually buy all your wireing and connectors from? I'm going to wire up a new addition to our house and I was wondering if I should buy all my stuff from Home Depot or an on-line store. Is Parts Express a good choice. Is it logical to buy a 25lb roll of cat5e cable considering shipping or should I just purchase small stuff from them then.

For something like a 25lb roll of cat5e cable, I would probably just go to Home Depot or Lowes. I would think the shipping would be outrageous, and I can't imagine the cable would be of different quality.

I found mine at a local computer shop. They were 1/3rd the price of Home Depot or Lowes.
