USB 2.0: How do I upgrade my PC?

I am running XP, actually have been since JUST before it's release a few years ago. I have a Sony VAIO that it was loaded on. Anyhow, got me one of those key chain Jump Drives and when I plug it in, I get a balloon that says 2.0 would work best. I looked for new drivers but can't seem to find any. So the main question I have is, CAN I upgrade using my existing USB or do I have to buy something else?

TIA

You have to buy a USB 2.0 card that can fit into a PCI slot.

Isn't a VAIO a laptop?

If this machine is a laptop, to my knowledge there is nothing you can do to convert USB 1.1 to USB 2.

Stacey
