PC to HDTV monitor connection

I'm using my Sony 53 HS10 as my PC monitor. Have it hooked up with S-vhs MONSTER Cable. Is there a way of using component using the pin connections on the Nvidia Ti4200 with an adaptor that will accept component cable or is this as good as it gets. The picture is pretty good as is but better video quality is always the goal to shoot for.

Do not know which is better but my Home Theater is travelling at the speed of light AND sound. Yippee-ki-yay.

Does the Sony have a DVI or VGA connector? If not the only other option would be a VGA -> Component transcoder.

No DVI or VGA inputs but 2 component inputs --- 1 that I use for DENON DVD player in Home theater. How much is a vga---component transcoder. Sounds expensive!!! Would it be worthit in video quality?

Bill,

I'm pretty sure what you want is a "VGA Breakout Cable". It has a VGA connector on one end and R-G-B-H-V on the other end. Last time I checked, they ran about $30.
