Please Help!

I get a TON of popups and I think I may have spyware...it is killing my computer. Anyway, now I can't even open taskmanager, it shows up and then goes away in a split second dissapearing totally from the taskbar. Anyone? I have so many garbabe programs running that it is really slowing down my comp....help!

Get Ad-Aware and run it. The standard version is free. Also get Spybot and run it too. What Ad-Aware misses (and it don't miss much) Spybot will get. BTW, Spybot is free also.

PS It is usually better to give a little more info in your thread subject line than just "please help".

If, for some reason, spybot or adaware don't do the job, back up your crucial files, and format.
