I found one in my new house and am wondering if setting it up could benefit me at all. I have DSL currently using PPPOE, pppoe keeps me from having several computers online at the same time unless i get a router, could i use this gateway instead of a router? its a lucent gateway, model eg 5100 (i couldnt find anything on their website about this model) It has a wan, a lan, and several telephone ports. any ideas? or is this junk to me?
