How to make several windows remain after shutdown?

Quick ?
I want to be able to have one or many windows open on my desktop, and power down my system. Then turn it back on and have the windows in the same spot. How do I do this? Any help would be appreciated

Oops sorry bout lack of info.

Just running xp pro. No special programs just thought there would be an option somewhere to save the window settings.

If you Hibernate it will keep all active windows open,
Standby won't.
