USB or S video?

I currently have my PC hooked to my TV through an S video cable and a digital coax audio cable. Would I be better off using a USB cable, which my TV supports?

Thanks

Re: USB or S video?

Are you sure that isn't an HDMI connection? Or maby a USB connection so you can attach a thumb drive to view pictures? I haven't seen a TV that allows video over USB. Posting the manufacturer/model of the TV will give us a better idea whether or not it will work.

Philips 42PFL5332D

It definately has a USB connection, but I was only assuming it was for audio and video. Is that wrong?

Re: USB or S video?

I downloaded the owner's manual for your TV and Robert is right. The USB port is for viewing pictures via thumb drives and digital cameras, not for viewing video.
