Better of two

I thought I was sold on the Sony vw-60, but like the reviews I've read about the Epson 1080UB. Both are within my price range but can't decide between the lumens vs. the LCOS (not sure of spelling) of the Sony. I can make the room as dark as necessary and will be using it for gaming and movies.

I will be mounting on the ceiling at about 8' to a 100" screen limited to a width of about 95".

Also what wall mounted electric drop screen would you select for your choice.

Lumens is a measure of light output, applicable to any front or rear projection system. LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) is a display technology, just as DLP and CRT are. So I'm not sure what you're deciding between.

Regards,

Joe

Re: Better of two

I understand the difference between the two but was unsure of the spelling of the acronym LCoS. My question is what is everyone's opinion of the two projectors and which would provide the best overall satisfaction? The price difference is insignificant to me. I just don't want to set up my HT, then wish I purchased a different projector.
