About to plunge
I have been waiting to set up my HT for some time now and of course everybody wants it up and running for the game. I have a 14' X 21' room but due to knee walls I can only use a screen that is up to about 95" wide. I've done some research and have decided on the Sony VW60 projector with a 100" electric wall mount screen. There are a few package deals on Ebay I'm looking at but none of them have told me anything about the screen they would supply.
This is a relatively narrow room with an 8 foot ceiling and as I understand it, the projector will need to be about 13' back. We will be using this for mostly movies and games and with only one window, we can keep the room relatively dark. There will be two rows of seating (3 per row) with the first row at about 12' back from the screen.
Considering the above, what specificatiobns should I ask for in a screen?
Any info for the newby would be appreciated.
