need help guys??

i have a samsung LNT 52 71F LCD tv with a PS3 bluray i wanna get a home theater system with no dvd player for 500.00 what would you guys recommend?

My brother picked up a Panasonic HTIB for around $300. I know Sony has similar systems. They come with the amp and 5 speakers. It isn't the best but it does a good job.

This Panasonic system is similar to what I talking about.

Hit the "Clearance" link at the top of the Circuit City web site.

I spent $700 for a Dennon HTIB for my daughter last Christmass and I saw it was on clearance for under $500 at Circuit City.

Make sure:

- The receiver is a separate black box with lots of spare inputs
- The subwoofer is self powered
- The speakers are 5 monitor-style cubes and not some high-tech looking plastic tubes.

Thise slightly more expensive systems give you lots of upgrade paths down the road.

hey gene, on the onkyo it has awsome reviews except for the speaker wire? what should i buy insted? is monster speaker wire overrated? sorry for all the questions im a noob to home theater
