Does this set up work?

Can anyone tell me if there are any better ways to get audio/video from all the components to the tv? The tv just has regular RCA connections so is there any point in doing more than I already show?
Thanks for any help! (please go to my profile to view diagram showing what I have)

Re: Does this set up work?

That setup is fine.
I will say that the component cables, from the dvd player, aren't doing any more for you, than the yellow video composite cable would. For the component cables to be any real advantage, you need component inputs on the tv.
But, since it works, there's no need to go pulling stuff out, to change it.......
Enjoy!

Re: Does this set up work?

Yea, I know that by the time it all gets filtered down to going into the TV it is just as good as a yellow composite, but If I upgrade to a new TV with better connections then it will be worth using the composite. or even by then use hdmi instead. but thanks for okaying the set up, makes me feel better since i'll prob be installing it tonight!
