This week Ken McAlinden reviews Albert Lewin's MGM adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, a highly awaited release that gets notable recommendation. Pioneer Elite

Was just curious?

Is there a big difference from the Elite PROFHD1 (1080p) and the Elite 1140 HD??

The Pioneer Elite PRO-FHD1 is astonishing, currently the best plasma on the market. However, at this price you will be looking at the law of diminishing returns. The 1140HD is an excellent plasma in its own right, and would certainly be one of my top three picks, seeing as the PRO-FHD1 is priced towards basketball players and brokers.

Keep in mind that for a 50" set with a 1080p source you would need to be sitting 6.5 feet from the set in order for your eyes to resolve the resolution.
