home cinema in a small room

i have a small room, where i want to build a home cinema with a projector and a dvd home cinema systeem, with 6 little boxes. The room measures 3,55 meters by 2,25 meters. the height for the projectorscreen may be max 1,24(height) meters by 2,20 meters.

Is this room to small or can i make i good home cinema room?
which systeem(dvd+amplifier+boxes) is good and not too expensive?
will the surround be good in such small room?
How must i setup the speakers(behind the person?)?

Re: home cinema in a small room

Here is a small theater, but it is a little bigger than the one you are planning:
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/gallery1/main.php?g2_itemId=3367. It is 3.6m x 4.2m. The 3.6m is from the back wall to the screen. The screen is 2.3m diagonally. Small rooms can sound good with much smaller (& cheaper) equipment. As you can see in the pictures, I had the surrounds mounted behind and to the side of the seats. The only trouble I had was with enough seating when friends came over.

Hey, No wonder the water don't work! This pipe is full of wires!!
