We are in a new E-home which has every room wired for Cable, Phone and Network.
This is all centralized in a Home Director box which is located in the basement.
When we took possession of our home we were not given a manual or any training on the Home Director. I'm hoping that someone on this board has one of these installed and can provide some hookup assistance.
When the cable company first came out they tried wiring the cable through the home director box, we tried the cable after he left and we had nothing but static on each line.
They then sent a senior tech out who totally bypassed the home director box and just ran a splitter from the main line to the specific cable lines for two TV rooms.
My goal is to properly wire the cable using the home director box so that I can have cable in any room.
Can anyone provide some direction or photos?
