Need a stand for a 36" WEGA

What are you 36" WEGA owners using to hold up your tv's. I hae a friend that asked me to post. Does anyone know where they could find a big enough tv stand that could hold the cable box and all the HT equipment. There is a $500 budget. Thanks.

How much HT equipment is your friend trying to fit on one stand and what is the exact model of the TV? I use the matching Sony stand that holds just the TV and the cable box (could add VCR/DVD player). I made a rack for the rest of my equipment (receiver, CD changer, DVD player, VCR, and PS2).

Look here: http://www.etronics.com/sonylist.asp...469&catid=4505

He has the model with the 510 in it. He has a tivo, amp, dvd, xbox, dvd's, cd's and games. He currently has one of those stands that came with the tv. They trew it in for free with some dumb leather chair. He wants the tv to sit just a little higher up. Thanks

Good luck. Maybe he can put some blocks under the stand!

Tell him to sell that free stand for ~$100 or whatever he can get, and go for a Salamander Synergy Twin 30:

In black, it will be $600, but much nicer and more stable than the Sony stand.
