Help for new set up

Hi --

I just got a new Denon 3803 and a 5.1 speaker setup, and I can get the sound to come out of the speakers in a 5.1 setup, but I can not get any picture out of the tv, whether using a vcr or just the tv. Any suggestions?

You need to give more information. Do you have the cable or dish (or whatever source youre using) connected directly to the TV? Is the VCR connected directly to the TV? It sounds like maybe they're connected through the receiver first and then to the TV. If its not necessary for you to do this then just connect all video sources directly to the TV and you shouldn't have a problem. If you must connect the video sources through the receiver then I'm sure the receivers manual will hold the answers. But if you give detailed information I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out.
