Different RCA Diplexers
I am rewiring my DTV dish & antenna outside, removing an old, not-so-good Terk dish-mount antenna and replacing it with a larger directional antenna. I will be using two diplexers on the outside and again on the inside for each of the two receivers in the house.
I headed over to Radio Shack and they had RCA diplexers, model D920, for about $22 a pop. At Home Depot, they have RCA diplexers as well, model VHD920, for about $10 each. The more expensive one from Radio Shack has "DBS Satellite Accessories" all over the package, but the piece itself looks nearly identical, save for the different model number on the package.
Any idea if these are practically the same component, or am I missing some major fact? They both seem to be for use with dish/air setups. I'm used to seeing price differences in these stores, but that's pretty significant. Anybody know for sure?
Thanks!
