Just to be clear, your link is to the HD-DVD Two-Disc Special Edition.

I have a PRIME Membership (since Dec 2006) and the 10% discount is not showing for me (even after adding to my shopping cart). I have not heard that having a PRIME Membership provides for any discounts on DVD's, HD-DVD's, or Blu-rays. I read somewhere (can't remember exactly where though) that if you had purchased 2 or 3 HD-DVD's (or Blu-rays) during a specified time period at Amazon.com, you would receive 10% off subsequent HD-DVD (Blu-ray) purchases through the end of 2007. Might this be the 10% discount that you are seeing?

Amazon.com also has the standard DVD of Transformers (two-Disc Special Edition) available for pre-order for $22.99 (eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25):

My mistake, ... I forgot to add HD DVD to the Title and post.

...

Yes - that's the 10% off that I'm referring to, for HD DVD & Blu-ray Discs only.

When I bought my Toshiba HD-A1 and 2 HD DVD's (AUG '06), ... I not only received 10% OFF for those first 2 HD DVDs, but, ... I was automatically enrolled to a 90-day FREE PRIME Membership which entitled me to use the 2-Day SH option for FREE.

Since then, all my HD DVD orders received the 10% OFF, and if the 10% OFF doesn't show up with a new pre-order listing (happened to a few HD DVDs over the last year), ... I just email Amazon's CS and they fix my invoice & I'm happy !!!

Anyway, after 90-days (from AUG '06), I joined PRIME since I planned not only to buy more HD DVDs, SD DVDs** (TV shows like NCIS, Bones, Stargate Atlantis, JAG, etc.) but tools, air compressor, digital camera, blue-tooth headphones, etc. during the year & continue the FREE 2-Day SH option.

Like you said, I've read somewhere that the 10% OFF for HD DVDs (& Blu-ray) will continue until the end of 2007 so I got 10% OFF for my Pre-Ordered HD DVDs ...

Star Trek: The Original Series - The Complete First Season (1966)
Battlestar Galactica: Season 1 (2004)
Next (2007)
The Last Starfighter (1984)
We Are Marshall (2006)

**SD DVDs didn't qualify for the 10% OFF.
