Re: SCTV box sets at HamiltonBook.com

I'm a little late but SCTV deserves lots of love here...so BUMP.

I bought set 1, watched the first episode yesterday and it's fantastic fun for the money. Highly recommended.

They are still listed at $24.95 at that link above. I bought mine for $35 from DDD and it was cheaper after that lovely 20% discount. I'd say these were worth $50 each easy for fans. If I had the money I'd order all the others.

Btw, did these not sell well?

That link died. But there's others listed "New" at $17.99. You win!! I hope they continue at that price. I'll get them all in a few months.

Re: SCTV box sets at HamiltonBook.com

Thought I might resurrect this thread for those looking for low prices on the SCTV sets. It's said that some Dollar Generals have them for cheap. Also, Newbury Comics (there's a link right on their front page for these sets). They are both selling "marked as overstock" versions. That just means the barcode is destroyed. Get em while they're hot!

Btw, SCTV The Early Years is not included. Although it's pretty cheap as well. Around $30.

are you saying someone is reporting these at DG now?

they were appearing there near the beginning of the summer for a little while but they sold out very quickly.

On the "What was the last TV DVD you bought...?" thread someone just posted they found some. But Newbury Comics has them for just $5 more each + shipping. We all know these are worth much more than this. My guess is that those will disappear quickly as well. A snooze/lose situation.
