Any chance we could keep a woot thread going?
Today, 4-13-2005, there is an InFocus ScreenPlay 5000 LCD Projector that, at this moment is still available for $1199.99!

Good suggestion Henry.
In the past couple of weeks, Woot has had the ScreenPlay 4800, the 4805, and now the 5000. (Note: This ScreenPlay is Infocus factory refurbished and comes with a 90-day Infocus warranty). Hopefully Woot will continue the deals on additional HT items.
I've been contemplating a FP for quite some time and just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. I wanted 1280x720 at a minimum and my short list contained the Panasonic AE700 and the Sanyo Z3 - but both are in the $1,800 to $2,000 range including shipping and tax (and after MIR on the AE700). I just couldn't pass up the ScreenPlay 5000 at this price-point from Woot for my first FP.
Did anyone else get in on this deal?

Look out, Henry! This is a tough room. Very demanding.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

henry, you could start by adding an actual link to www.woot.com in the first post.

"What happened" is, we got the answer to Henry's initial question, I guess.

Since we are on the topic...has anybody purchased anything from WOOT? If so, how was the transaction?
