Denon 2803, $649 +tax

Last night i picked up a NEW in the box, factory sealed Denon 2803 for $649 + Tax...Hillcrest Hifi in Dallas,TX part of the Tweeter family. I got this price over the phone, first the guy (Jerry) quoted me $719 as the special 'private sale' price...i gave him a disappointed "hmmmm" and was about to says thanks and goodbye, then he went to 'check' on the price again for me...sure enough he said '$649' with the three(3), now two(2) in stock....25 or more available over the weekend.

Not to be a downer, especially to a fellow TEXAN. You can get a brand spanking new Denon 3803 from www.6ave.com for $649 delivered, no tax. You have to call them though. They are Denon internet authorized, and come with a full warranty. I would return that & snag the 3803 while they still have them. The 3803 is a much better machine.

They are substituting 3803's for 3802's automatically. It all over the Receiver forum here & AVS forum.
