I would try and get a receiver with 100 watts per channel.

I'm not sure which is the better buy.
Seems like the Denon might be the better buy because of the specs.
Denon (100 watts - 8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08 % THD)
Pioneer (100 watts x 5, 1kHz, 1% THD @ 8 ohms)
I'm assuming 20khz is better than 1khz at 100 watts, so I guess the Denon is the better buy since at Denon (110 watts - 6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7 % THD).
