Stopped by my local Costco at lunch and they had boxes of Superbit titles for $18.99 each. Took 4 up to the register and paid, got a receipt with a rebate form attached, stated it was for a $5.00 rebate on Superbit dvds, expires 7/6/03 (no signage in dvd area). It also said limit 1, so I'm curious as to whether anyone has had any experience with this kind of "limit 1" rebate at Costco, wondering if I should return 3 of the 4 and buy them separately or just be happy with my unexpected $5. Anyway, you can mail it in or do it online. I did it online (all the required info is on the receipt), took about a minute, web site told me I would receive the check in 4-6 weeks.
Here are the available titles:
Das Boot
Desperado
Air Force One
Gattaca
XXX
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Dark Crystal
The Fifth Element
Legends of the Fall
Men in Black
Tommy
Vertical Limit

Thanks John:
I was just on Costco.com looking for their superbit list. I'm hoping to pick up Bad Boy SP.
Don\'t make me angry. You won\'t like me when I\'m angry.

Michael, I didn't see these titles online when I looked earlier. I think it's only a B&M deal.

Does it say anything about one rebate per house hold?

Tony, I have the same concern and question; it says "one rebate per product, per offer, per membership #/ household unless otherwise noted." It's boiler plate language (also talks about alcohol beverage rebates), so I'm not sure whether they'll restrict the rebate here to one per each dvd purchased, or one rebate, period, no matter how many dvds purchased. The former makes sense, the latter not so much. The way I see it, what difference should it make to Costco whether 5,000 people each buy a dvd in this promotion and receive a rebate, or one person buys 5,000 dvds and receives 5,000 rebates? Either way, they still sell 5,000 dvds and mail 5,000 $5 checks. Anybody have additional info/thoughts on this?

My gut feeling is it is one SuperBit rebate per membership. That is how the rebates at that type of place usually works.
They flutter behind you, your possible pasts.
Some bright-eyed and crazy, some frightened and lost.

*UPDATE*
The Costco rebate page finally has been updated to show the status of my 2 Superbit rebate requests, and BOTH are showing as valid! In addition, it shows the LIMIT for this rebate as 12! That matches the number of available titles, meaning that you can buy one of each (or, seeing as all of these have the same exact item number, no movie name on receipt, probably multiples of some instead) and get a $5 rebate for each purchase. Accordingly, I'm returning 3 of the 4 from my first purchase and 1 of the 2 from my second purchase and re-purchasing them individually. Woo hoo!
