Toshiba SD-K970 uconverting to 1080i @Costco $60

I not ready to buy BlueRay, I was looking at the opps, then I saw this @ Costco for $60. Can't find much online about it. All I do is rent from Blockbuster. Is this a worthwhile unit or should I spend more for the opps.
My TV is a pany 1080i.
Any info / adivice would be helpful.

Ouch, now that was a cold shoulder.
Looked into this more and could not find anything on the Toshiba, but found plenty of good things about the Oppo. I was worried about the micro blocking with the Faroudja chip so I ordered the DV980H instead of the DV980HD. Contacted Oppo and asked about the HD and micro blocking with my Panny plasma and all they would say was that if I was worried about MB go with the DV980H. Hope I don't give up much going this route.
Ordered from Amazon, no shipping or sales tax, $169.
On to speakers now!
