I need help hooking up DVD recorder to Dish 811 and projector
I bought a DVD recorder yesterday to hook up to my Dish 811 HD satellite receiver and front projector. I want to be able to record from satellite programming and from OTA programming(antenna hooks up to back of 811) while I watch it on projector in HD. I know it will not record in HD. I hooked it up like I was supposed to, but I can't get anything to display on screen. I hooked up the red and white audio cables from recorder to 811, and S-video cable from 811 to recorder. The diagrams in manual say to hook up RF-out on sat. receiver to TV, but the 811 has no RF-out. The 811 only has RF in for sat. and RF in for antenna. What do I do? And the projector has no antenna connection anyway. Is there any way to make this work? I was hoping to record the Super Bowl tomorrow. Thanks.
