Dish DVR remote

The remote for my Dish DVR is dying on me, and I need a universal. It's hooked up to a 7 year old JVC dvd player, and an 8 year old JVC pro logic receiver. What remote should I be looking at for $30-40? It needs to be just as easily used as the Dish remote or my wife won't like it. Any suggestions?

Re: Dish DVR remote

I would suggest the MX-500 Home theater Master. It's a little more than your budget but will be able to work everything. Should be able to get one for $70 or less.

Why not order a new one from Dish?

Re: Dish DVR remote

I searched on remotecentral.com, and someone else had the same question. They were recommended the URC200. It's on sale at amazon.com for $50. I've never heard of this brand. Any they quality?

I figured Dish would be expensive, but under accessories on the website is says you can order replacements for $20. I may just do that.
