SD channels viewed through the same connection, on the same TV, with the same settings, as my old 311 receiver make my beautiful plasma look like a bad LCD (soft and grainy). SD actually looked pretty good from my old 311. HD channels look great through the VIP211, but probably make up less than half my TV viewing. Anyone else notice this? Does the VIP211 have a service menu for the SD image output that I might be able to tweak? This truly sucks. Thanks!
