Oppo delay

I have the Oppo 971h and its been at the default setting of 5ns for the audio delay. If its set at zero does it seriously affect the audio synch? Has anyone tried different settings?

It mostly depends upon your TV and your receiver. If everything is synced correctly right now, why change it? If it's out of sync, then try new settings with it. It's there because some receivers and TVs take take an extra bit of time to process the digital signal they are getting, and one of the common issues with the Oppo was the audio and video being out of sync.

So, if it's not broke, don't fix it. If it is, it's the tool to use.
