Dish Network mpeg 4 receiver to HTPC?

Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer a High Definition movie recorded to the Vip 622 receiver via USB to a home theater PC?

Not possible. Check with 169 Time to see if they have a firewire modification for your receiver.

There is hope that the new 6.x software upgrade for the DirecTV HR10-250 will allow this with an additional hack. Older model SD DirecTivos are able to do this after being "Zippered".
