DVD Error

I have a Samsung DVD-M301. I just got a Region All DVD that won't play. The error it gives is:

"Please check the TV system."

I have another Region All DVD from China that plays fine. What could be the problem? The new DVD is format DVD 5 if that makes a difference. Is there a way to tell if it is PAL?

Got a computer drive somewhere????

It will generally give you such details and more about particular discs, depending on the DVD Software.
