KISS DP 508 Progressive scan - How?

Hi!

Sorry for asking something which may seem obvious to most here, but I simply don't know and the manual isn't too elaborate..

I've recently purchased a KISS DP 508 DVD player, it has the following connections:

* S-Video
* Video
* Optical
* Coax
* Scart
* Red/white stereo

My intention is to hook it up with my Sony VPL-VW10HT projector, also recently purchased.

The projector has the following connections:

* S-Video
* Video
* INPUT A (R/G/B/Hsync/Vsync)
* INPUT B (R/G/B/Hsync/Vsync)

Both units are capable of progressive scan and I should definately try and use it, from what I read.

Questin is... how? I'm new to this, so I don't know how it works. Which of the outgoing connections from the DVD player 'carries' the progressive scan signal? All? S-Video? SCART?

In the manual for the projector it indicates I should connect R/G/B (is that the same as RCA?) to INPUT A in order to use the progressive scan. Do i require an S-Video <---> 3 RCA cable?

Anybody who can help me out, before i go spending money on wrong cables?

Thanks!

to use progressive scan, you have to use component via SCART.

My DVDs

Homer: So, Mr. Malloy, it seems that the cat has been caught by the very person who was trying to catch him.
Skinner: How ironic.

So i'd have SCART as output from my DVD player splitting up into RCA for input to the projector?
