DVD changers
As my DVD collection is getting bigger, I am on the market for a DVD changer. I have been using a 75 CD changer for some time (a Technics SL-MC4) with awesome results. One thing that bothers me though, is that programming such a gizmo via remote control is just crazy, so my next DVD changer is going to have to be able to be connected to my computer. I know of one such device: the very expensive Sony DVPCX777ES. For some reason, however, home electronics manufacturers seem to be hell bent on using the very obsolete RS-232 interface for a computer/control port instead of something more 21st century, like USB (1.x or even 2.x) or, god forbid, even FireWire...
My question: are there other DVD changers out there of comparable magnitude (100+ DVDs) and quality, preferably cheaper and with a diferent control interface?
