Soon to take the plunge, and aiming for a Pioneer 3100, any reason not too ?
As title, should I get this, if not, what should I get and why ?
Stipulations are it must record in minus r and rw, and should have either or both co-ax digital/optical digital out s-video in and out, and 2 scarts at rear. firewire input on front panel, (or s video/audio) for easy camcorder hook-up.
Budget is £330 UK.
Other units considered were the Sony GX3 (put off by movement supposedly not as fluid as it could be) and the Panasonic E50 (lack of dvd-rw support is this units stumbling block for me).
