Any reason not to leave “2 Channel Bass Enhancer” ON for my Denon 2900?

I'm a new 2900 owner and I was wondering. Does it effect any other settings? For DVD-A/SACD listening I have my sub x-over turned down to 40Hz. So basically it covers the very low end my JBL S310-II’s can’t. I don’t often listen to SACD’s with just a stereo track. I have my 2900 set to seek a Multi Channel track first and Multi Channel is set as the default audio setup. Any comments or feedback?

My setup:
Toshiba 35"
harman/kardon AVR 525
Denon DVD-2900
JBL S310-II's
JBL S-Center-II
JBL S36-II's(rears)
Velodyne CHT-12(sub)
23'x18'x14' (LxWxH)

As far as I understand the Bass Enhancer only affects two channel output and according to the "white paper" regarding the set ups published on the Denon web site, it only affects the analog outputs. You might want to read the white paper as it addresses the multichannel Bass Management in detail (even though I ended up adjusting to my ears and measurements a little differently as recommended).

The white paper:

Good luck and enjoy the player. I just bought mine about a month ago or so and it is a great improvement over my previous Sony S7700. As is my new Misubishi 73713 over my 61 inch Sony XRB.
