HTIB speaker wire


Does the Yamaha HTIB's come with speaker wire? If so, what leghths?

If they are not attached to the speakers and/or do not have special connectors, you will want to replace it with some decent wire anyway. The wire that typically comes with these complete systems is not very good.

What John said. It will probably come with really really thin wire. Replace it.

However, do not get sucked in buy the sales guy who tells you you need a $100 rolls of wire. Go to home depot and buy the cheap stuff in bulk. It will sound EXACTLY the same. Any supposed difference with expensive wire is do to the placebo effect. It's been proven many, many times.

HTIB speaker wire is awful. Even the somewhat pricey Onkyo sets come with impressively thin wire. Definitely, definitely replace it with something better from Home Depot.
